Nevan Chang
Sai Hang Jason Chau moved all in from middle position for 360,000 and was called by Nevan Chang in small blind.
Sai Hang Jason Chau: A J

The sweat of the bust didn't last long, as Chau picked up top pair on the 6 A Q flop.
A 9 turn and T river secured him a double up.

Action was caught as the dealer was awarding Hugues Girard the pot and Seho Kim was packing up. The board showed 4 9 7 K Q and Girard had :A K .
With this win, Girard crossed over a million while Kim went to the payout to collect TWD 161,000 (~USD 5,160) for his 17th place finish.
The field is now down to 16 players.

As retold by one of the players, Kim Wah Chiu opened and Philemon Ip called then both saw a flop run K Q 4 .
Both players checked for a free turn T where heavy betting erupted leading to Ip all-in showing A J straight and Chiu behind with K T two pair.
The river brought down another T to improve Chiu to a full house that in turn sent Ip crashing out on a bad beat.
Ip finished in 18th place and had to settle for a payout of TWD 141,400 (~USD 4,530).

Jihwan Oh
Jihwan Oh opened from the hijack and Akira Takasugi raised to 120,000 from the small blind.
Oh moved all his chips in, bar one single 1,000, putting 293,000 at risk. Takasugi went along and called.
The players saw a 4 8 K flop and Takasugi snap raised to 5,000.
Oh took some time, stood from the table, and looked at the action around him.
There were 28 players remaining with a pay jump at 27.
His time ran out and there were no other all-ins in play, so Oh moved his remaining chip in.
Jihwan Oh: 9 9
Akira Takasugi: A T
Oh was looking strong on the 4 8 K flop, but Takasugi it took on the T turn.
There was no recovery on the 7 river, meaning it was the end of the road for Oh. Akira Takasugi sat back with a monster stack.

Alex Lynskey open-shoved from late position for 191,000 and was joined by small blind Pi-Ying Hsu after first using up two time banks. When they tabled their hands, Hsu had the better kicker.
Pi-Ying Hsu: A J
Alex Lynskey: A 9
Hsu was the one at risk and survived the low board of 3 2 7 5 8 to win the pot and send Lynskey down to just 5,000 as both players had about even stacks.

No action until the small blind, Tao Wei Chang pushed for 209,000 that sent big blind - Ori Kossonogi to the think tank. After counting and recounting his stack, Kossonogi risked his tournament life.
Ori Kossonogi: A 2
Tao Wei Chang: J 9
Kossonogi was ahead but still needed to dodge Chang's live cards. The 6 5 7 flop gave Chang more outs with a gutshot in effect. The turn K was no help to Chang and neither was the river T for Kossonogi to double through while Chang plunged to just over one big blind.

Jinlong Hu
Jinlong Hu open-shoved his last 160,000 from early position but wasn't able to escape unscathed as Florencio Campomanes three-bet shoved in late position to successfully isolate the action.
Jinlong Hu: 4 4
Florencio Campomanes: J J
Jinlong Hu
Hu was in big trouble with his pair needing to improve. However, the board favored the best hand, keeping the runout a clean Q T 2 5 7 for Campomanes to ship it and Hu to ship out as the stone-cold bubble.
