Blogger Poker Tour Terms & Conditions

1. Employees and immediate family members of employees of Poker.com, its associated companies, advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to take part in the Blogger Poker Tour promotion. Entry to the Blogger Poker Tour promotion is limited to those people who are resident in countries where their registration and use of the Poker.com cardroom is permitted by the law of their country.


2. The World Series of Poker Championship Event will be held from July 28 to August 10 2006. The winner of the Blogger Poker Tour promotion should be available to play in this tournament.


3. Poker.com reserves the right to ask for proof of age from any player, and player accounts may be suspended until satisfactory proof of age is provided. Entrants to the World Series of Poker must be at least 21 years of age. Players who are less than 21 years and who qualify for the World Series of Poker will not be able to participate and will not be refunded.


4. By downloading the Poker.com software and registering an account, a customer is deemed to have fully accepted and understood all rules, terms and conditions published by the Poker.com website.


5. Poker.com does not accept liability for any of the World Series of Poker Tournaments not taking place, being postponed or delayed for circumstances beyond their control. Any disputes relating to the provision of the Prize must be taken up with Poker.com


6. Prizes are non-transferable. The winner cannot sell, transfer, or award their World Series of Poker Tournaments seat or prize package to anybody else. In the event that a prize winner is unable to attend the World Series of Poker, the entire prize package will be forfeited unless a suitable alternative agreement can be reached with Poker.com management.


7. Prize winners will be given exclusive Poker.com & Blogger Poker Tour merchandise & apparel. You will be required to wear this apparel whenever you are participating in any World Series of Poker Tournament or participating in any Poker.com sponsored event (as requested by Poker.com representatives)


8. Poker.com reserves the right to alter, modify or terminate the Promotion and/or these terms and conditions at any time, without giving any prior notice (written or verbal) where it is reasonable to do so or for reasons beyond the Poker.com's control. Poker.com does not accept any responsibility or liability for any late or undelivered entries or registrations, notifications or communications or for any form of technical failure, error, malfunction or difficultly or for any other event beyond its reasonable control that may cause the operation of the Promotion to be disrupted, unavailable or incorrect.


9. Prize winners will be eligible to receive the following from Poker.com
   
   1st Prize
   $US 10,000 buy-in paid to the World Series of Poker Main Event, $US 2,500 deposited to your Poker.com account to cover travel and accomodation expenses, invitations to any Poker.com sponsored events (TBA) and a Poker.com VIP gift bag, containing Poker.com merchandise & apparel and other assorted goodies.
   
   2nd Prize
   Dell 30 inch monitor and associated video card or other Dell products up to the value of $US 3000.
   
   3rd Prize
   A Poker.com poker table.
   
   4th-10th Prizes
   A 4gb special edition Poker.com Apple iPod nano.
   
   10th-50th Prizes
   Assorted Poker.com / Blogger Poker Tour merchandise and apparel TBA.


10. Poker.com reserves the right to cancel or postpone Blogger Poker Tour Tournaments the event that a server problem or internet routing problem prevents many players from accessing the site.


11. Poker.com is not affiliated with or related to the World Series of Poker or Harrahs Casino Hotels, Dell Computers or Apple Macintosh. The WSOP chip logo remains the property of Harrah's Casino Hotels and all promotional graphics related to prizes remain the property of their copyright owners at all times.


12. By qualifying to the World Series of Poker Main Event through the Blogger Poker Tour and Poker.com, you grant Poker.com full rights to record your identity, likeness and voice in connection with the World Series of Poker Main Event, and to use this in any manner as Poker.com may choose, in any and all media and manner throughout the world now known or later developed, for any purpose whatsoever including (but not limited to) production, distribution, broadcast, advertising and promotion.


13. It is the responsibility of eligible Blogger Poker Tour players to remember to play in the Blogger Poker Tour grand final tournament. No compensation will be offered to players that earn eligibility, but then do not play in the Grand Final tournament.


14. Poker.com and the Blogger Poker Tour reserve the right to close the Poker.com account of any player at any time. Any player found to be colluding, or manipulating the Blogger Poker Tour eligibility system to gain entry into the Blogger Poker Tour events will have their account immediately closed, their balance forfeited and eligibitly to any future events withdrawn.


15. To remain eligible for Blogger Poker Tour tournaments and prizes, players must ensure that their participation link in the form of the Blogger Poker Tour flash banner and text link is visible on the index page of their website or blog for the duration of the promotion. The promotional period ends August 31 2006. Players are permitted to alter the style of the text link using CSS, but the flash banner must be displayed in 125 x 125 pixel dimensions.


16. Players results and prize winnings from each Blogger Poker Tour event will be displayed via xml feed through the participation link flash banner. All players taking part in this promotion give their consent for these results to be displayed on their website by Poker.com.


17. Players are permitted to display Poker.com affiliate links on their website in addition to the Blogger Poker Tour participation flash banner and text link, in accordance with the usual Poker.com affiliate program terms and conditions. 18. If it is determined a new blog was created for the sole purpose of gaining BPT entry, the player may be required to observe a one event waiting period. Blogs that do not contain unique and up-to-date content may have their tour entry cancelled and any prize coupons voided.
