Alex Wice
Roman Hrabec raised to 80,000 under the gun before Hikaru Hishinuma three-bet the cutoff to 140,000. Alex Wice cold-called from the big blind, but then Hrabec four-bet to 525,000. Hishinuma called, then after a few moments, Wice five-bet ripped it for 2,360,000. Hrabec snap-folded, but after a long tank, Hishinuma called for half her stack.
Alex Wice A K
Hikaru Hishinuma A Q
Wice had found the perfect spot to not only double-up, but also take the chip lead on one of the first few hands of the final table.
The flop of K 2 7 was a dream for Wice as he paired his king and left Hishinuma needing running cards to win. The rest of the board came 3 5 and Wice was the new chip leader with over 5,000,000.
