TAIPEI, TAIWAN, November 26, 2025– Day 13 of the APT Championship 2025 brought another pivotal shift in momentum inside Red Space as the #1011 [Event 11] APT Championship Main Event Freezeout entered its Day 3. With the money bubble bursting, the survivors have now set their sights firmly on the top prize of the richest -ever Main Event in APT history.

At the same time, Flights B, C, and D of the #1012 [Event 12] Mini Main Event Championship wrapped up today, completing the event’s full set of opening flights.


Survivors Return for Championship Glory

The tension reached its peak in the APTC Main Event Freezeout today as the money bubble burst, guaranteeing every remaining player a share of the historic prize pool. The field was then whittled down to 34 survivors, all of whom will return for Day 4 with one goal in mind — securing a seat at the final table of the biggest Main Event in APT history.

Mini Main Event Draws 1,603-Strong Field; Chen in Pole Position

The TWD 35,000 (~USD 1,120) Mini Main Event Championship proved to be the most popular draw of the day, attracting the third-largest field of the festival so far over the four opening flights.

In total, the tournament attracted 1,603 entries (1,280 unique), and with only the top 14 percent of players making it through to the Final Day, a combined total of 227 players made it through from the final three flights to join the 35 Flight A survivors on the Final Day.

The prize pool stands at a sizable TWD 48,474,720 (~USD 1,553,677)—the 3rd largest of the festival so far—with all respective survivors to make the Final Day guaranteed a min-cash of at least TWD 54,500 (~USD 1,697) and the eventual champion claiming a TWD 8,535,720 (~USD 265,910) top prize.

It was Flight B that drew the largest field of the starting flights, drawing a sizable 725 entries (541 unique) who competed over 20 35-minute levels in an attempt to make the Final Day, with the action getting underway at 11am local time (TST).

Only 102 players were successful in their quest to make the paying positions, with Kuan Yu Chen bagging up a tournament-leading 1,028,000 in chips.

Flight C

Flight B was still chugging away when the action kicked off in Flight C at 4:30pm, but by the time late registration closed at 8:20pm a total of 323 entries (280 unique) had signed up to take their shot at claiming the Pewter Lion Mini Main Event Championship Trophy.

Only 46 players circumnavigated the tournament minefield to bag up chips at the end of the 21 20-minute levels played, with Daniel Benor topping the flight with a stack of 822,000– putting them second in the overall pecking order.

Flight D

The fourth and final Turbo Flight D kicked off at 8:30pm and came with faster-paced 15-minute levels, with 310 entries duking it with 44 surviving for the Final Day.

It was Yuan Lei to top the final flight, concluding the 21 levels played with a stack of 872,000.

Smolka Smokes the Rest to Win First APT title

Polish pro Dawid Wiktor Smolka triumphed in Event #125: High Roller – Single Re-Entry, emerging from a tough 256-entry field to claim TWD 7,017,100 (USD 226,998) and secure his first APT title. With three cashes already recorded earlier in the Championship, Smolka converted his momentum into a breakthrough victory in one of the series’ high-roller events.

Japan’s Ryosuke Ikari delivered an excellent performance of his own to finish runner-up for TWD 4,724,500 (USD 152,912), while South Korea’s Youhyun Kim rounded out the podium in third place, earning TWD 3,331,000 (USD 107,806) after another composed deep run.
