When cards went in the air, only the most addicted PLO players were ready to jump in early. Among them was Poker Hall of Famer and ten-time bracelet winner Erik Seidel of the United States. Seidel, who has nearly 500 career cashes on The Hendon Mob with his first dating all the way back to 1988, never found his footing today. A slow start turned into a grind, and he ultimately bowed out shortly before play ended for the night.
Some recgnizable players who bagged a stack for Day 2 include Daniel Haywood (191,000), Josh McCully (154,400), Danny Tang (110,500), and Toby Joyce (101,000) who doubled up with a boat on the last hand of the night. Tobias Schwecht (90,600) and three-time bracelet winner Michael Wang (74,500) prop up the bottom of the chip counts and have the most work to day when cards hit the baize tomorrow.
