TAIPEI, TAIWAN, November 27, 2025– Day 14 of the APT Championship 2025 delivered another blockbuster day inside Red Space, headlined by the #1011 [Event 11] APT Championship Main Event Freezeout, which played down to its prestigious final table. The atmosphere intensified as the final 9 locked up their seats in the most anticipated finale of the series.

The spotlight also shone on the #1012 [Event 12] Mini Main Event Championship, which concluded today and crowned its newest champion after a hard-fought final day. Meanwhile, two more Championship events got underway with their Day 1 flights — the #1013 [Event 13] High Roller Championship and the #1014 [Event 14] Teams Championship, both drawing strong fields eager to chase late-festival glory.

With Championship titles up for grabs across the floor and even more set to be decided in the coming days, Day 14 marked another thrilling step toward the end of an incredible Championship series.


The Championship Peak

After four days of thrilling action in the APTC Main Event Freezeout, the field has finally been carved down to its final table. Leading the charge is Nishant Kishanlal Sharma of India, who bagged an impressive 9,125,000, equivalent to 152 big blinds, to top the counts heading into the biggest final table of the APT New Era. Sharma now sits in pole position to contest for the title, the trophy, and the record-breaking top prize. Meanwhile, the Mini Main Event Championship, which drew the third-largest field at the Championship series so far, crowned its winner as Natural8 ambassador and Taiwanese pro Nevan Chang emerged victorious after a gruelling final day. For the triumph, they pocketed TWD 7,085,620 (~USD 227,100), capping off a standout performance beating out a 1,603-strong field.

While both the High Roller Championship and the Teams Championship kicked off their Day 1 action today, one hand in particular stole the spotlight. In the High Roller Championship, Thai pro Punnat Punsri delivered what may well be the call of the entire Championship, hero-calling with nothing more than king-high to win a pivotal pot to keep him afloat in the tournament, leaving his table and rail stunned.

In the side events, Day 1 of Event #146: High Roller - Ultra Stack attracted a massive 477 entries, just three shy of the record for the same event in the series. South Korean Soo Jo Kim ended up as chipleader going into the Final Day, with the top prize of TWD 4,772,580 (~USD 148,678) awaiting the winner.

Thailand’s Nopparut Piyatassakorn earned his first APT title in Event #144: NL Hold’em – Single Re-Entry, overcoming a competitive 201-entry field to claim TWD 747,900 (USD 24,188).

South Korea’s Jaegeol Cho finished runner-up for TWD 504,800 (USD 16,334) after a strong showing, while Japan’s Maki Fuchigami completed the podium in third place, taking home TWD 347,500 (USD 11,241).
